Shedding New Light on Jewish Traditions

Adult Ed

Rabbi Alanna's Adult Education Seminar

December 13, 2020 - 11:00am

The Wit, Wisdom and Words of Rebbe Nachman of Bretzlav

December 13, 20 & January 3 – via Zoom

How do we find and cultivate joy in the darkness?  What is the spiritual power of singing a niggun?  Is there a secret tool-kit for entering into conversation with the Divine?  And, what is one to do when they discover that a prince believes that he is a Turkey?!  Join Rabbi Alanna Sklover for a dive into the stories and teachings of this Chasidic master.

Evening Torah Study

December 14, 2020 - 7:30pm

For congregants who are interested in learning more about Torah, lay-led Torah study will take place the second and fourth Mondays every month. The approach is entirely different than on Shabbat. It’s an enrichment program, where we’ve proceeded in depth verse by verse. A knowledge of Hebrew is helpful, but not necessary. For more information, please contact Marty Jacobs or Jeff Chebot. Open to all!

And now there is Torah Study via Zoom!
