Volunteers meet at Or Hadash for The Sleeping Mat Project practicing the values of Bal Tashchit (do not waste) and Tikkun Olam (repair the world). Each week, volunteers make sleeping mats for homeless people out of recycled plastic bags. These lightweight mats provide insulation from the wet and cold ground.
