M2M represents the absolute best of Or Hadash.

Namely the dedication and commitment of members of diverse ages and stages to learn and grow together.

When students are in 5th grade (typically in the SMILE School’s Hey class), they are each paired with an Adult Mensch with a high Jewish literacy level who is comfortable working with young people. The adults volunteer their time to become informal teachers and role models to our youth. 

Each Mensch-Match continues formally through the next three years, following the student from 5th grade through the end of their B’nei Mitzvah year. Informally, Mensch-pairs – and their families – often remain close for years beyond.
