There are so many ways to create and enjoy music at Or Hadash.
The Makaylah
The Makaylah, our volunteer choir, has been a fixture of musical life at Or Hadash for over 30 years and we are excited to begin preparing for our 2025 – 2026 / 5786 season.
We will be singing an array of accompanied and a cappella pieces in Hebrew and English at our high holiday services.

The New Klezmaniax

Rehearsals are 3-5pm on the 1st Saturday.

Na LaShir Singing Circle
Building community though song.
Meets at Or Hadash from 7 – 8pm every 2nd Wednesday.
Do you love to sing? Do you connect with community through making music or finding a harmony line that just soars? This monthly group builds community through raising our voices in mostly wordless melodies (nigunim) and other songs brought by those who come. It’s like a jam session for your voice – nothing required but yourself!
Vintage Israeli Dance
One Sunday Each Month 4 – 5:45pm
Featuring all the classic Israeli dances you love that are hardly ever danced any more.
Masks are optional. Please wear soft-soled shoes.
