Tisha B'Av Observance

July 29, 2009 - 8:00pm

Our annual Tisha B’Av observance will held at Or Hadash on the evening of Wednesday, July 29, 2009, beginning at 8:00 p.m. This solemn and contemplative program will include periods of silence and chanting, in commemoration of the many tragedies which have befallen the Jewish people throughout the course of our history. We will chant the traditional Book of Eichah (Lamentations), with English overreadings of selected passages by volunteer attendees.
