Are you interested in learning about lay leadership at Or Hadash? Or perhaps you are, or have been, a lay leader in some capacity but want to improve your understanding and knowledge? The first class will be on Sunday, October 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00. It will cover how to run an excellent committee and understanding the budgetary process. The second class will be on Sunday November 10 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30. Rabbi David Teutsch will speak about values based decision making from a Reconstructionist perspective. The third class will be on Sunday November 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00. Rabbi Alanna will participate in discussions including the rabbi- lay leader relationship, and today’s realities of running a synagogue. Reading materials will be provided before the first class.
