Shedding New Light on Jewish Traditions

Gala Evening - 13 Year Celebration

What a wonderful evening we had celebrating that Rabbi Josh has been a part of our congregation for 13 years! It was an evening of delicious food, endlessly flowing wine & cider (and plenty of non-alcoholic beverages), lots of fun, laughter, and community. Fantastic entertainment (Cheryl Kripke Cohen, Makaylah, and New Klezmaniax), free babysitting, heartfelt speeches (just two), crazy photo booth, and Rabbi Josh trivia.

Please click here to see the marvelous montage that was showing in the community room; bet you recognize someone besides Rabbi Josh!

We just got a link to all of the pictures from the photo booth, so you are now able to view all the fun that was had in the Goofy Photo Booth by clicking here. (Note: anyone can now print out their favorite Goofy Photo.) In case you want to send the link to someone, it is http://goofyphotobooth.com/index.php/event-photos.

Finally, together we collected 573 cans/boxes of non-perishable food that was delivered to the Mitzvah Circle Foundation. In case you didn't see the can sculpture that was created during the evening, click on the attachment below to find a picture of what the children made. The kids were asked to create something out of the cans that reminded them of Rabbi Josh, and they used the cans to present Rabbi Josh's huge smile that they always see when he is with them. They also counted all of the cans!
